Based near Glenrothes and working across Fife, I bring three decades of experience and an award‑winning eye to every shoot. My work is rooted in photographing families on location using natural light to produce classic, authentic images rather than forced poses. Why choose me? My approach is simple and personal. Before we meet I’ll have a chat with you — by phone or Zoom — to understand what’s important: favourite locations, any pets to include, clothing tips and how best to capture personalities. On the day I guide gently rather than directing constantly; a mixture of posed and spontaneous moments gives you a gallery of images that look and feel like you. I’m patient with little ones, happy to include dogs and horses, and flexible with weather and timing to get the best possible light. Location is central to my style. I often suggest local beaches, bluebell woods or a family garden as they provide natural backdrops and a relaxed atmosphere for everyone. If you prefer, I can also come to your home for an intimate lifestyle session that captures everyday moments — breakfast, playtime or cuddles — in a way that feels honest and familiar. Beyond the shoot I take care over editing and presentation so your images look beautiful on screen and on the wall.
