I’m Anna Moffat — an Edinburgh-based family photographer who believes being trusted to take your family’s photos is a real privilege. Since launching my business in 2012 I’ve focused on capturing authentic, joyful moments that families will treasure for years to come. My approach is calm, unobtrusive and creative: I look for the small, true interactions that tell a family’s story rather than forcing staged smiles. Why choose me? I work sensitively with new babies in the comfort of your home, and I love the freedom that outdoor shoots bring for older children — natural movement and real laughter make for the most memorable images. On the shoot I keep things light-hearted and low-pressure — I sometimes bring a ball for Mindy (my dog) if the kids need a bit of encouragement — and let family life unfold naturally.
