I specialise in family photography from my home studio in the Peacehaven / Telscombe Cliffs area, and I’m proud to be known for a gentle, natural approach to family portraits. With over 15 years of photographing families, maternity shoots and location sessions around Brighton and across Sussex, I focus on creating relaxed, authentic images that celebrate the real connections between you and your loved ones. My sessions are deliberately bespoke — I only take a limited number each month so every family gets my full attention. Whether we meet in my purpose-built natural light studio or head out to a favourite nearby location (sunset on Brighton Beach, bluebell woods, an autumnal field), I aim to keep the atmosphere calm, fun and unhurried. That way children can be themselves, parents can relax, and the most honest expressions naturally emerge. My style is modern, simple and timeless. I use soft, natural light and thoughtful composition to put your family at the heart of every frame. I prefer minimal posing and gentle guidance so that interactions and small moments—hand-holds, shy smiles, those little in-between looks—become the images you’ll treasure. I also enjoy helping clients plan location shoots and choosing places that reflect their family story. The experience doesn’t stop when the camera is put away. After your session I invite you back to view the edited images in-person so you can choose the prints and wall art that best suit your home.
