Hello — I’m Reena Pitney, the photographer behind Colours By Reena, based in North Watford. My approach is friendly, calm and hands-on: I talk with you before the session to understand what you want, guide children (and adults) with gentle direction, and keep the atmosphere light so natural smiles and interactions shine through. I draw on years of experience photographing children, babies and whole family groups to adapt quickly when the spontaneous moments appear — because often the best images are the unplanned ones. My studio in Watford offers classic, clean portraits as well as colourful, customisable backdrops for a more contemporary look. The "In The Box" sessions are a favourite for families who want something creative and different — a composite, multi-pose portrait that becomes a single artistic image. For newborns and very young babies I also offer comfortable home sessions, bringing a relaxed, safe environment to capture those early, fleeting days.
