My greatest desire is to produce special memories for you to cherish. As a specialist family photographer based in Battersea and working across London, I bring over 40 years of experience to every family photoshoot. I focus on capturing the character and connections that make your family unique — from relaxed portraits of parents and children to tender newborn and baby moments. What makes my approach different is its warmth and flexibility. I prefer to work in familiar, comfortable settings: your home, my purpose-built North London studio, or the large hall I use in Battersea. For many families, especially young children, being at home helps everyone relax and allows their natural personalities to shine. I work in a largely child‑led way, allowing moments to unfold rather than forcing poses, while offering gentle guidance and ideas to get that beautiful shot you imagined. I combine traditional people photography values with up-to-date digital techniques. My full professional lighting kit and high-quality equipment ensure clear, well-lit portraits whether indoors or outdoors. I also offer sensitive retouching and editing as needed, and keep final images secure on a password-protected gallery so you can view and select your favourites privately. All work with children is carried out in line with current GDPR good practice and I hold an up-to-date DBS certificate. My process is straightforward and collaborative. We’ll discuss your wishes in advance — in person or via Zoom — and I’ll suggest locations, poses and gentle prompts to help everyone feel at ease. On the day I aim for a relaxed atmosphere, allowing time for changes, playful moments and quiet portraits. After the shoot I present a selection of carefully edited images for you to choose from, and I’m happy to advise on prints or keepsakes to preserve those memories.
