I'm Lee Fitzpatrick — the face behind Fitz the photographer, based in Littlehampton, West Sussex. Family photography is at the heart of what I do: from newborn cuddles and toddler grins to children’s portraits, baptisms, communions and birthday celebrations, I specialise in creating images that feel genuine and timeless. My work is about capturing the small, meaningful moments as much as the big smiles — the way a hand rests on a shoulder, a quiet look between siblings, or the first curious expressions of a newborn. My approach is relaxed and personal. I shoot most family sessions using natural light, either in the comfort of your home or at a favourite local spot around Littlehampton. This helps everyone — especially young children — feel at ease and behave naturally in front of the camera. When a different look is wanted, I also use my mobile studio lighting to craft clean, classic portraits with soft boxes and simple backdrops. Being fully self‑taught, I’ve spent years practicing, getting up early for the best light and refining how I use light to shape and enhance an image. Working with families means building trust. I aim to create a friendly, low‑pressure atmosphere where laughter and real moments can happen. Before a shoot I’m happy to talk through ideas, locations and what matters most to you so the session reflects your family’s personality. After the session I apply careful post‑processing using Lightroom and Photoshop to make each image sing — removing distractions where needed while keeping skin tones and emotions natural. I understand how important family photographs are: they become keepsakes for generations. I deliver images through secure online galleries so you can view and download your favourites at home, and I can also prepare prints and albums if you’d like a physical collection. While family work is my specialist focus, I’m experienced across related sessions for babies and children and can adapt to baptisms, communions and small celebrations.
