Hi — I’m Charlie, the face behind Charlotte Christopher Photography. I specialise in family photography from my calm, beautifully neutral studio at Blackbrook Barns in Lichfield and on relaxed outdoor shoots in Sutton Park. I love documenting real family connections — the honest laughs, the quiet moments and the little interactions that feel ordinary in the moment but become priceless memories. My approach is simple and natural. I don’t over-pose or clutter images with busy props; instead I focus on authentic moments and natural light so your photographs stay timeless and true to you. Clients often tell me how laid back and patient I am — I’m a mum of two energetic boys, so I know how to work gently with children to capture their personalities while keeping the session calm and enjoyable for everyone. Studio family shoots are tailored for young families of up to five people. The space is designed to be comfortable and non-judgemental so you can relax while I guide small prompts and playful moments to bring out genuine expressions. I offer styling and clothing advice to help create cohesive, classic images that look great on the wall and won’t date. If you prefer the outdoors, I regularly photograph families in Sutton Park at the golden hour, using soft evening light to create warm, natural portraits. Outdoor sessions are unposed and fun — I aim to capture the connection between family members rather than everyone looking at the camera. I’ll work with your routine and routines around nap or meal times where possible so children are at their happiest. Working with me is friendly and straightforward.
