Hi — I’m Daisy, the photographer behind Daisy Lily Photography. Based in Leytonstone and working from a cosy East London home studio, I specialise in family photography with a focus on simple, timeless images that will sit beautifully in your home. My work leans towards neutral tones and uncluttered styling so the personalities and natural connections within your family are always the centre of attention. Why choose me? I trained at London College of Fashion and worked in fashion for five years before discovering my love for photographing families and children. That background taught me the value of composition, light and subtle styling — skills I bring to every family session. What I care most about is creating photographs you’ll want to print and display, not just files that get forgotten on a hard drive. What makes my approach special is how I blend fine-art simplicity with a warm, patient studio atmosphere. Sessions are never rushed; I always work at your family’s pace so children — from babies to older siblings — feel comfortable and natural. I create a calm environment (you’re welcome to a cuppa and biscuits) and I encourage relaxed interaction rather than rigid posing. Those genuine moments are the ones that become treasured portraits. How I work: most family sessions take place in my home studio in East London, designed to be comfortable for little ones and practical for families. I’ll guide you gently through poses and prompts that encourage real smiles and connection; for sitter or baby sessions I have carefully chosen wardrobe pieces available if you’d like them. About one to two weeks after your shoot you’ll be invited back to the studio for a gallery viewing where we’ll select the images you love and discuss the best ways to present them in your home — prints, canvases and framed wall art are a big part of what I offer because I believe family photographs should be seen and enjoyed every day. While family photography is my core specialism, I also accept portrait enquiries on occasion.
