I specialise in family photography from my private studio at Spinners Mill in Leigh. As a family-focused photographer I put the relationship between people at the heart of every session—whether it’s a playful children’s portrait, a cosy family portrait or a maternity shoot that celebrates a new chapter. My aim is to capture honest, natural moments that feel like you when you look back on them years from now. My approach is relaxed and personal. Before the shoot we’ll have a pre-photoshoot chat so I can understand how you like to be photographed and prepare the right backdrops, props and wardrobe suggestions. On the day you’ll find a comfortable private dressing room and a studio designed to make families feel at ease. I guide everyone through the session with full one-to-one coaching so even the most camera-shy children (and adults) end up with authentic expressions and warm, lively images. Creativity is part of what I offer. From imaginative children’s themed portraits and “In The Box” sessions to classic family groupings and elegant maternity portraits, I tailor each session to your story. I welcome pets too — a well-behaved dog often becomes part of the family portrait and adds genuine character to the images. Technical care matters as much as connection. I control lighting and composition to produce flattering, timeless images and then apply careful editing and high-end retouching so your photographs look their best. After the shoot you’ll view your images and choose the ones that speak to you; I also offer a range of professional print and wall-art options to help you display your favourite pictures at home.
