I’m Cathy — a Leigh-based, mum-led family photographer who loves capturing the real, unscripted moments that make your family unique. With over a decade in business and a studio in the heart of Leigh, I specialise in family photography and pride myself on creating a calm, joyful experience for everyone involved — from newborns and toddlers to teens and grandparents. My approach is relaxed and natural. I want your photos to feel like you: warm, honest and full of the little details that tell your story. Whether we’re photographing playful children, a tender parent-and-baby moment, or a full family portrait, I work with gentle direction and plenty of humour so even the most camera-shy family members feel at ease. Dogs are absolutely welcome — they’re part of the family too, and I love capturing the bond you share. From our first chat to the moment you choose your favourite images, I guide you through every step. I begin with a pre-session conversation to understand your family, your favourite locations or styling ideas, and what’s important to you. Shoots can take place in my cosy Leigh studio or at a local outdoor spot where your kids feel relaxed and free to be themselves. After the session you’ll be invited back to view your gallery in person — it’s one of my favourite parts, seeing parents light up when they see their family captured beautifully. Safety, patience and experience matter — especially with little ones. As a parent myself, I know how to keep shoots calm and flexible, and I bring years of experience working with babies and children to every session.
