I’m Nick Gould, a family photography specialist based in Lancaster, GB. For more than 30 years I’ve made it my mission to capture the small, honest moments that become family history—those spontaneous laughs, quiet embraces and fleeting expressions that tell a household’s story. My approach is collaborative and calm. Whether we’re photographing a newborn’s first expressions, toddlers at play, a multi-generation family portrait, or celebrations like baptisms, communions and birthdays, I work to put everyone at ease. I combine a portrait photographer’s eye for light and composition with a documentary sensibility, so the images feel both composed and true to life. Sessions are tailored to your family: choose studio portraits with controlled lighting and classic backdrops, or on-location shoots that use your home, favorite park, or a Lancaster setting to create a personal, environmental portrait.
