I’m Joe — a Kingswood-based family photographer who loves photographing real life as it happens. My work centers on a natural-light, documentary/photojournalist approach: I aim to be unobtrusive, blending into the background so I can capture the quiet, tender and spontaneous moments families often miss when relying on a phone camera. My approach is relaxed and human. I seldom force poses; instead I create a comfortable atmosphere where people forget the camera and behave naturally. I’ll coordinate a few essential family groupings when needed, but mostly I work quietly to preserve authentic expressions and real connections. Natural light is my preferred palette — it lends warmth and life to portraits and keeps images feeling genuine and timeless. I specialise in family sessions across the South West, including newborns, babies, children, baptisms, communions and birthday celebrations. Each shoot is tailored to your family’s rhythm: I listen to what matters to you, scout locations that fit your story, and edit every image by hand to create printable, long-lasting memories you can share for years. Beyond family work I enjoy photographing action and automotive subjects, but family photography remains my core focus — it’s where my passion, patience and parent’s instinct come together. I also actively support community and charity projects, offering my skills to help local causes when I can.
