Hi, I’m Cat — a full-time Norfolk photographer based by the North Norfolk coast, and I specialise in family photography around King’s Lynn and across North Norfolk. I love capturing happy family memories: the small everyday moments, the chaotic laughter, the sandy toes on the beach and the quiet, tender looks that make up family life. Why choose me? My approach is relaxed, friendly and totally natural. Sessions are fun and informal so even the most camera-shy little ones settle quickly. Whether we’re running along the dunes for a beach family photoshoot, popping into my studio near Fakenham for a cake-smash or 1st birthday session, or wandering a favourite local spot, I focus on capturing genuine emotion and connection rather than stiff, posed shots. The result is contemporary, timeless family portraits you’ll want to hang on the wall and share with friends and family. How I work: most family sessions last around 1–1.5 hours and take place where you feel most comfortable — your garden, a park, one of Norfolk’s beautiful beaches or in my studio. I keep things simple and personal: I’ll recommend locations and work with the light to create the best images, and I’ll help even the littlest members of your family feel at ease in front of the camera. After the shoot I hand-edit your images with care and deliver them via USB or secure download so you can print, frame or create photobooks as you wish. I’m also happy to advise on prints and bespoke albums if you’d like something ready-made to display at home. A bit about me: I live in Burnham Overy Staithe with my husband and have been photographing people and places for as long as I can remember. I love making the most of where I live — the coast, the creeks and the big Norfolk skies all make beautiful backdrops for family photography. I’ve worked with holiday guests through local partners like Barefoot Retreats, shot studio cake-smash sessions and documented doorstep portraits of village life — all with the same relaxed, friendly approach.
