I’m Emma, the face behind Millie Loves Louis Photography, based in Kidsgrove. Family photography is at the heart of what I do — it’s my specialism and the reason I picked up a camera in the first place. As a mum of two I know how fast children grow and how precious everyday moments become. My aim is to create warm, timeless family portraits that you’ll want to display and share for years to come. Whether we meet in my studio, in the comfort of your home for a lifestyle session, or out on location for natural outdoor portraits, I work to put everyone at ease. I favour capturing authentic interactions rather than stiff poses: gentle prompts, playful direction and plenty of patience help even the most camera-shy children relax so I can catch those genuine smiles and quiet, meaningful moments. I specialise in family and children photography, and I also regularly photograph newborns, babies and special family occasions such as christenings and birthday celebrations. From mini-shoots for nurseries or themed studio sessions to longer family portrait sessions, I bring the same calm, professional energy to every shoot. I have a mobile studio for nursery and group work, and offer a selection of finishing options including professional prints and keepsakes. Working with me is simple and friendly. I’ll guide you through pre-shoot planning — location choices, what to wear and how to prepare little ones — then we’ll enjoy the session at a pace that suits your family. After the shoot you’ll receive a private online gallery where you can view and choose your favourite images.
