I specialise in family photography based in Hove, working across Brighton and the Sussex countryside to capture real moments and honest portraits. My approach is relaxed and lifestyle-led: I use natural light and beautiful outdoor locations to let your family be themselves, producing images that feel genuine rather than overly posed. How I work: we start with a short pre-shoot chat so I can learn what matters to you — favourite locations, routines for young children, or particular shots you’d like. Most sessions are outdoors in the varied landscapes around Hove and Sussex, but for newborn shoots I’m happy to come to your home so we can photograph your baby in a calm, familiar environment using natural light. During the session I keep things informal, encouraging play, movement and simple prompts so I can capture authentic expressions and connections. After the shoot you’ll receive an easy-to-use, password-protected online gallery where you can view, select and download your favourites. I offer guidance throughout the process and can help you choose images for prints or wall art if you’d like to display your photos at home. Although family photography is my focus, I also shoot maternity and portraits when clients want to mark important moments in their lives.
