Hi, I’m Kinga — a family photographer based in Hindley, Wigan, and the face behind Through the Looking Glass Photography. As a mum of two, I know how quickly childhood moments pass, and my work is built around preserving those small, honest interactions that mean the most. I specialise in family photography and approach every session with a relaxed, natural style so your photos reflect the real warmth and personality of your family. Why choose me? How I work: from the moment you enquire I’ll guide you through everything — from choosing a location to what to wear and how to help little ones feel comfortable. Sessions can take place in my cosy home studio in Ince/Hindley or outdoors, depending on the look you want. During the shoot I offer gentle direction and plenty of encouragement, letting natural moments unfold while capturing them thoughtfully. After the session you’ll receive a private online gallery to view edited highlights and choose the images you love. My approach is personal and flexible. I understand families come in all shapes and rhythms, so I tailor each shoot to your needs — whether that’s including toddlers, grandparents, or capturing lively sibling dynamics. While family photography is my core specialty, I also photograph maternity and newborn moments, helping families tell their story from pregnancy through those first days together.
