I’m Mike — a Hertford-based family photographer who loves capturing the everyday moments that become the photographs you live with. My work centres on relaxed, natural family portraits taken in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside and local favourite spots. Before any shoot you’ll receive a short questionnaire or we’ll schedule a call so I can get to know your family, your favourite locations and what you want from the session. On the day I’m relaxed and friendly — I use humour, little games and simple prompts to help kids and adults feel comfortable. Natural smiles and playful moments are always my aim, and I’ll work around what you want so the session fits your family’s rhythm. Seasonal mini-shoots and outdoor family sessions are a particular joy for me — whether it’s bluebells, lavender or a festive Christmas set-up, I look for light and settings that enhance the mood and tell your story. Each image is carefully edited to bring out colour, warmth and personality while maintaining a natural look that stands the test of time.
