I’m Jen — a Hertford-based Mum, photographer and artist who loves creating honest, relaxed family photography that becomes part of your everyday life. Family photography is at the heart of Kimber Kreative: I specialise in natural, storytelling family photoshoots that capture the small gestures, the laughter and the real connections between parents, children and grandparents. My approach is informal and warm. I prefer to work in the comfort of your own home or at a favourite local Hertfordshire location so your family can be themselves. That means no fussy props or contrived poses — just gentle direction, playful prompts and plenty of time to let authentic moments unfold. Whether you want candid children photography, tender newborn and baby portraits that include parents, or a relaxed session to mark a birthday, baptism or family reunion, I aim to make the session calm, enjoyable and full of personality. Working with me feels like inviting a friendly neighbour who knows how to use a camera. Before the shoot we’ll have a chat to understand what matters to you — the relationships you want to showcase, the corner of your home you love, or the park where your children run free. On the day I move at your family’s pace: I encourage interaction, capture play, and step in for quiet, timeless portraits when the moment calls for it. My storytelling style means you’ll come away with images that feel natural, honest and ready to hang on your wall. I pride myself on creating keepsakes that families treasure. After the session I carefully edit your photos and present them in a private online gallery so you can easily download and share your favourites.
