I’m Lucy — a family photographer based on Hayling Island, GB — and my work is all about capturing the small, honest moments that become your family’s favourite stories. I specialise in family photography, and everything I do is shaped by a simple idea: the most beautiful images are the ones that feel true. My sessions are gentle, free‑flowing and always centred on connection rather than posed perfection. Whether we’re in my cosy home studio or wandering a secluded beach, my priority is to create an atmosphere where you can truly relax. I bring a calm, friendly presence — music, warm drinks and a client wardrobe of soft, boho dresses and baby rompers — so families feel looked after from the moment they arrive. This sense of ease helps children and babies show their real personalities, and lets parents be present instead of worrying about posing. I love to blend natural light with intuitive direction. Sometimes I’ll offer a little guidance, sometimes I’ll step back and let your family live the moment. The result is a collection of images that feel lived-in and warm: hands held, cheeky smiles, quiet cuddles and the tiny details of new life. Newborn and older-baby sessions are treated with the same patience and tenderness — baby‑led, unrushed and entirely safe — so you come away with photographs that really reflect that fleeting time. As a Hayling Island photographer I lean into nature — sand under bare feet, long grass, sunlit woods — using locations that feel private and timeless. I’ll climb into the dunes, lie on the sand, or find the perfect window light in the studio to create images with depth, beautiful tones and a slightly nostalgic edit that will look just as special years from now.
