Hi — I’m Monika, the face behind MON Photography, and I specialise in family photography across Haydock, Newton-le-Willows and the wider Warrington area. My approach is simple: I photograph life as it feels, not as it’s posed. Whether you choose a relaxed lifestyle session at home or a calm studio portrait, my goal is to capture the small, honest moments that hold the most meaning — the giggles, the quiet cuddles, the everyday gestures that tell your family’s story. As a mum of two, I know how quickly children change and how precious those early days are. That understanding shapes everything I do: I work with patience, a gentle manner, and plenty of flexibility so little ones (and grown-ups) feel at ease. I favour natural light, soft tones and minimal distractions to create images that are warm, timeless and full of feeling. My sessions are designed to be relaxed and enjoyable — I guide where needed, but I love photographing the spontaneous, in-between moments that show real personalities. I offer both lifestyle sessions — perfect for families who want candid, in-home or outdoor photos full of movement and heart — and studio sessions in my natural-light home studio in Newton-le-Willows for those who prefer classic, pared-back family portraits. Newborn and children’s moments are treated with extra care and calm; I create a peaceful atmosphere so you can focus on your family while I capture the details you’ll want to remember forever.
