I’m Nikki — a Halesowen-based family photographer who believes the best family photos are the ones that feel like you. Specialising in family, newborn, baby and children photography, I bring a gentle, calm approach so parents and little ones can relax and enjoy the session. My aim is always the same: to create natural, heartfelt portraits you’ll want on your walls and in your hands. My style is soft, honest and timeless. I work mainly from my neutral, natural‑light studio just outside Birmingham (with Warley Woods on the doorstep for outdoor shoots), and I’m also happy to come to your home for newborn or lifestyle sessions. Sessions are baby‑led and unhurried — I’ll pause for feeds, nappy changes and naps — which means we capture the small, true moments: sleepy newborn curled in a parent’s arms, the grin when a toddler realises the world is funny, and the quiet connection between family members. Working with families is personal to me — I’m a mum myself, so I understand the juggle, the tiredness and the desire to actually be in the pictures. I guide you with gentle posing and playful prompts rather than stiff instructions, using music, toys and a patient approach to get real smiles and natural interactions. My studio wardrobe and simple props are available to help create timeless looks without distracting from your family’s personality. When you work with me you get more than photographs: you get a calm, friendly experience and someone who knows how to make the day feel easy. I’ll help with planning, styling and preparing so you can focus on the people in front of the lens. The finished images are carefully edited and delivered via a private online gallery so you can view and share them with loved ones.
