Hi, I'm Dan — a family photographer based in the Fylde, on the edge of not-so-sunny Blackpool. I specialise in family photography and love capturing the everyday, unscripted moments that make your family unique. My approach is relaxed and conversational: you won't hear me say 'cheese' or force smiles. Instead I encourage you to be yourselves so I can photograph real laughter, tiny details and the small, perfect interactions that tell your story. I shoot everything from fun, energetic children sessions to gentle newborn and baby portraits, and celebration shoots for baptisms, communions and birthdays. Whether we're outdoors on the coast, wandering a favourite local spot, or working in a relaxed home environment, I aim for striking, emotive images that feel honest and stylish. I balance a documentary sensibility — staying present and unobtrusive — with a love of creating clean, beautiful portraits when the moment calls for it. Sessions are easy and informal. We keep things short and natural with plenty of time for play. For portrait moments I often work in two brief stints so you're never away from your family for long. After the shoot you'll receive a carefully edited gallery of images to choose from, and if you'd like a keepsake I design Folio fine art albums personally for my clients. These 12x12 lie-flat books, handmade in the UK, are a lovely way to enjoy your photos for years to come — perfect for passing down to children and future generations.
