I’m Tina — a family and child photographer based in Portchester, Fareham. Since 2005 I’ve focused my work on capturing the everyday moments and milestone memories that families want to keep. My approach is simple: children lead, we follow. That belief — "kids are in charge" — is at the heart of how I create natural, joyful family portraits. I work from a purpose-built studio near Fareham where there’s plenty of space to play, pose and relax. The studio is different from a high-street set-up; it’s personal, friendly and designed to make children feel safe and at ease. If your home or a favourite outdoor spot is more your style, I also photograph on location across Hampshire — whichever setting helps your family be themselves. Having begun my career with a large schools photography company, I learned a lot about working with groups and organising shoots efficiently. What I didn’t like was the rush — so I built my business to give children the time they need. Whether in nurseries, schools or the studio, I take the time to get to know each child so the smiles are genuine. I’m fully insured and DBS checked, and I’m used to working around little ones and busy family schedules. My sessions are relaxed but structured to suit you and your children. I blend playful direction with a documentary eye — catching candid interactions, little gestures and the expressions that tell your family’s story. Parents often say my sessions feel more like a comfortable morning at home than a formal photoshoot, and that’s exactly the atmosphere I aim for. I print to professional labs to ensure your images look beautiful for years to come, and I’m happy to advise on display options or keepsakes that suit your home. I’m supported by Ian, who helps behind the scenes with admin, deliveries and those much-needed post-shoot coffees — it’s a small team but a big hearted one.
