I’m Fiona and I specialise in family photography in Exeter and across Devon. My work is all about capturing the small, honest moments that make your family unique — the quiet cuddle, the ridiculous face that only your child makes, the hand squeezed a little too tight. If you’re looking for polished, posed studio shots, I’m probably not the right fit. But if you want images that feel like your real life — relaxed, natural and full of warmth — then we’ll get on famously. My approach is simple: make the photoshoot feel like a walk in the park (quite literally, often in the park). I keep posing to a minimum and favour playful prompts over stiff direction. We’ll choose a location that matters to you — a favourite beach, a woodland you explore on weekends, or the comfort of your own home — and I’ll quietly tag along, looking for those spontaneous connections and little in-between moments that become your favourite images. Working with families means I’m used to the unpredictability of children and babies. My shoots are relaxed and fun, designed to put everyone at ease so you can be yourselves. I pride myself on being the kind of person your kids will warm to quickly: someone who can coax a smile without shouting “cheese”, who’ll play, chase, and make a fuss when needed, and who’ll also know when to step back and let a moment unfold naturally. While family photography is my core speciality, I also offer maternity and event photography as complementary services.
