I’m Amy Blair — a Cambridgeshire-based family photographer specialising in natural, timeless family photography across Ely, Norfolk and Suffolk. With over ten years behind the lens, my work focuses on storytelling: capturing the little, unscripted moments that make your family unique rather than forcing stiff poses. Many clients tell me how calm and natural the experience feels; I bring that same calm to newborn shoots, in-home sessions and outdoor family portraits. I photograph families in locations that mean something to you — the local woods, beach, favourite field or your own home — and I also welcome you to my little Garden Room Studio for more intimate newborn and portrait work. How I work: we start with a chat so I understand what you want and where you feel most relaxed. On the day I work at your pace — especially with newborns and young children — creating a friendly atmosphere where pets are welcome too. My documentary background means I mix candid moments with a few timeless portraits, giving you a natural, varied gallery. After the session I carefully edit each image to enhance the mood and keep the look classic and enduring. Based in Ely with a trusty Sony and boots for muddy country shoots (you might spot me on my small holding with a horse, spaniel or goat in tow), I’m happy to travel for family sessions across Cambridgeshire and beyond.
