Hi — I’m Jess, the face behind Jessica L Curtis Photography and a specialist family photographer based in Ellesmere Port Town. With a warm, relaxed approach and 9+ years’ experience, I’ve built a reputation as an award-winning family portrait photographer who focuses on real moments, natural expressions and the small interactions that make your family unique. My purpose-built, cosy studio in CH65 is set up to feel like home — filled with comfortable seating, soft light and a calm environment that helps even camera-shy little ones relax. There’s parking directly outside and I always have the practical bits covered so parents can settle in: coffee, a calm space and everything needed to keep the session running smoothly. How I work: every family session begins with a friendly pre-shoot chat so I can learn what matters most to you — favourite colours, family dynamics, any worries about little ones. On the day I guide you with gentle prompts and playful direction to encourage natural smiles and interactions, while also capturing those spontaneous moments that tell your family’s story. I pride myself on patience and a warm manner that puts children at ease, and as a mum myself I understand how to keep sessions calm and enjoyable for everyone. Based in Ellesmere Port, I regularly welcome families from across Cheshire, Wirral and Liverpool to my studio, where I combine technical skill with a friendly, personal service.
