I’m Amber, a family photographer based in Eastleigh, Hampshire, and I specialise in capturing the kind of relaxed, genuine portraits that families actually want to live with. Since retraining in photography after having my first child in 2017, I’ve focused my work on families, babies and the small, joyful moments that become treasured memories. My approach is simple and personal: I work with you to understand what you want from the session and then put you at ease so real connections and natural expressions can shine through. Whether we’re in my purpose-built, cosy studio at home in Eastleigh or out at a local park, my aim is to create a calm, friendly atmosphere where children feel comfortable and parents can relax. I know how unpredictable little ones can be, so patience, gentle guidance and a sense of humour are a big part of every shoot. I photograph families across a range of moments—newborn cuddles and baby sessions, children’s portraits, first birthday cake-smash fun, and full family portraits that show your family exactly as it is. I’m used to working with babies and toddlers and I bring that experience into every family shoot so you get a gallery full of varied, high-quality images to choose from. Mini shoots are also a popular way to capture seasonal looks or quick family updates when time is tight. From the first enquiry to your final images, I keep things straightforward and supportive. We’ll have a pre-session chat about styling, locations and what you’d like to feature, and I’ll help with outfit ideas and prop choices if you want them. On the day I’ll guide poses and interactions so the photographs feel natural, not forced. After the shoot I carefully edit your images to ensure a consistent, timeless finish that works beautifully on walls, in albums or online.
