I’m Nic — a multi-award winning family photographer based in Dormans Park, near East Grinstead. My work is about more than pretty pictures: it’s about crafting fine‑art family portraits that feel true to you and your story. I specialise in family, baby and children photography and bring over a decade of experience capturing real connection, tenderness and those in-between moments that make your family unique. As a qualified Master Photographer and multi-award winner, I combine technical skill and creative direction with warmth, patience and a proper respect for the chaos (and joy) of real family life. My approach is deliberately gentle and inclusive. Families with anxious children, teens who “don’t do photos” or pets who steal the show are all welcome — I love working with personalities and know how to put everyone at ease. Before your session we’ll have a friendly pre-shoot consultation where we plan locations, wardrobe and the kind of images you love. I send a Pinterest board with styling ideas so outfits and colours sit beautifully together and your photographs feel timeless. Sessions are relaxed and client-centred. Whether we meet outdoors in one of my favourite local spots across Sussex, Kent and Surrey or at my home studio, the emphasis is on connection, movement and authentic moments. After the shoot I carefully hand-edit the selected images and invite you to a Viewing Session — in person at my studio near East Grinstead or via Zoom if preferred — so you can see your images large, without watermarks, and choose pieces that suit your home. I work with professional UK labs and offer an array of handcrafted prints, frames and wall art designed to display your family with pride.
