Sessions can take place outdoors, at home for a cosy, everyday look, or in our relaxed Hexham studio — wherever your family will feel most comfortable. I focus on capturing personality and interaction rather than stiff poses, so the final images feel candid and timeless. How I work: we begin with a short chat so I know what matters to you — the images you love, any practical needs (newborn care, younger children, pets) and the best locations. On the day I keep the atmosphere calm and flexible; I’ll guide where needed but mostly let your family be. After the session you can view your images in the comfort of your home via an online gallery and choose the favourites you want to keep or display. Light retouching is available to tidy up little marks and make sure your portraits look just right.
