I’m Abby (they/them) — a Conisbrough-based family photographer who loves photographing the beautiful chaos of your now. As a parent of four (including twins), I really do get the tiny messes, the big laughs, and the moments you’ll blink and miss. My work centres on storytelling: relaxed, documentary-led images with gentle direction that let your family be themselves. Why choose me? I don’t do stiff poses; I look for the little gestures — a hand on a shoulder, hair tousled by a breeze, a laugh mid-chase — and turn them into heirloom images. My creative eye mixes candid documentary moments with a few thoughtfully posed frames so you get a full story of your family as you are: messy, magical and utterly human. My approach is warm, unhurried and collaborative. We’ll have a natter first to talk about what you want, where you feel most like yourselves, and how I can help you feel comfortable on camera. Sessions can be at home for cosy intimacy or outdoors — woods, beach, fields — wherever your family’s personality shines. I’ll offer styling guidance and calm, encouraging direction throughout; I’m equal parts storyteller, cheerleader and practical photographer. On the day I work at your pace, leaving room for feeds, tantrums, giggles and everything in between. I aim to capture the full spectrum — the quiet, the chaotic, the tender and the joyful — so when you look back, you’ll feel transported to that exact season of your life. After the shoot I carefully edit your images with my storytelling lens and deliver a gallery with a quick turnaround so you can start sharing and treasuring the moments straight away.
