I’m Cheryl — a Colchester-based, fun freelance photographer who lives to capture the small, honest moments that make a family unique. Photography for me is personal: it began with my Grandad’s belief in the value of a photograph and now, as a mother and stepmother to four boys, I understand first-hand how quickly life changes. I’ve studied photography at college, completed City & Guilds qualifications and attended workshops in lighting, newborn care and post-processing. That background helps me combine technical skill with a sensitive manner around babies and children, allowing me to capture those fleeting expressions and tiny details you’ll treasure.
