I’m Maisy, the photographer behind Jupiter Moon, and I specialise in family photography for Cleckheaton and across West Yorkshire. Family work is at the heart of what I do — from newborn cuddles and sitter sessions to playful children’s portraits and first-birthday photos. With a background in photography and fine art and more than a decade of hands-on experience, I create images that feel honest, light-filled and full of connection. Safety and trust are central to my work. I’m paediatric first-aid trained, hold an enhanced DBS check and have specialist newborn safety training. As a mum myself, I understand how important comfort and privacy are during shoots — I design sessions to suit feeding rhythms, sibling needs and family personalities so everyone leaves feeling cared for. How I work with you: we start with a friendly conversation about what matters to your family — favourite locations, meaningful props, or a style you love. On shoot day I aim to make things easy: calm direction for toddlers, playful prompts for siblings, and a patient, baby-led approach for newborns. After the session you’ll see your images together so we can choose the portraits that speak to you and plan how best to display them in your home. My style leans toward light, timeless portraits that suit contemporary homes and become heirlooms for future generations.
