Being invited into the life of a family is a real privilege for me — I love photographing faces at all ages and the small moments that say so much about relationships and home. Whether you want newborn portraits, playful children’s photography, a family portrait, or coverage of a baptism, communion or a special birthday, my focus is on making the session comfortable, genuine and enjoyable. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. I aim to get to know you briefly before and during the shoot so I can respond to what feels natural for your family. I work on location — in your home, at a favourite local spot, or at a venue you choose — because I find people relax and reveal their true selves in familiar surroundings. That familiarity helps me capture laughter, tenderness and the little gestures that become treasured images. I bring years of experience and a photographer’s eye for composition and light, but I’m not about stiff poses or forced smiles. I encourage play, connection and movement; I look for the honest interactions that say, “this is us”. For newborn shoots I’m patient and considerate, prioritising the baby’s comfort and the family’s needs. For older children I balance direction with freedom so genuine expression emerges. After the session I deliver carefully selected, edited files with full rights to print and share.
