I’m Nicky Bamber — a Chingford-based, award-winning family photographer who believes the best images come from calm, joyful sessions that let personalities shine. Photography for me began with a childhood love of capturing moments; today I’ve turned that passion into a career focused on families, newborns, maternity and children. Based in my studio in The Village Arcade, Station Road, Chingford, I create portraits you’ll cherish for years. Why choose me for your family photoshoot? My approach is relaxed and conversational: I aim to put everyone at ease so even camera-shy children relax and show their true character. Safety and care are central to my newborn work — I hold an industry-recognised newborn safety certificate and use a selection of beautiful props and gentle handling techniques to ensure every session is safe and comfortable. From full family portraits and milestone sessions to my Cherubs watch-me-grow package (three mini sessions across baby’s first year), I help families preserve those early memories. I also photograph cake-smash and first-birthday moments, outdoor family shoots in local parks, and relaxed studio newborn sessions.
