Hello — I’m Saraya, an award‑winning family and portrait photographer based in Cheltenham and working across the Cotswolds and London. I specialise in location family photography that focuses on real moments and the personalities of your children. Over more than two decades behind the camera I’ve developed a quiet, playful way of working that helps even the most camera‑shy little ones relax and be themselves, so I can capture honest, timeless photographs you’ll cherish. How I work with families is simple and personal. We start with a conversation so I understand what matters to you. On the day I guide and encourage rather than direct, using fun prompts and gentle direction to keep things natural. After the shoot I’ll help you select your favourite images in a viewing session — either at my studio or online — and advise on printing and display so your portraits become part of your home, not just files on a phone. Alongside family and children’s portraiture I run mentoring and hands‑on workshops for photographers. My teaching draws on the same philosophy I use in my shoots: clear technique, creative thinking and practical experience. I’m also a Fujifilm X Ambassador and author of Portrait Photography: Art & Techniques, which informs my approach to light, composition and storytelling.
