Hi, I’m Laura — owner and photographer at Twinkle Toes Photography. As a mum of two, I know how quickly children grow and how precious those everyday expressions are. Based in Castleford with a welcoming studio close to Morley, Leeds, I specialise in family photography and creating portraits you’ll actually want to live with on your walls. My approach is warm, fun and baby‑friendly. I blend gently posed portraits with natural, documentary moments so your family is seen exactly as you are: playful, tired, joyful and full of life. Whether it’s a sibling session, milestone children shoot or a relaxed family portrait, I work to put everyone at ease — even the camera‑shy — so the photos feel genuine, not staged. Sessions are tailored to you. From the moment you enquire I’ll send a prep guide and help choose background colours and outfits that will complement your home and personalities. In the studio we keep things calm and flexible: I build in time for cuddles, snacks and breaks, combining posing and free play to capture those true interactions. Props, cosy wraps and subtle backgrounds are used thoughtfully to keep the focus on connection and character. I value the experience as much as the final images. After your session I invite you back to a relaxed viewing on the large screen so you can see your photographs beautifully presented — it’s a lovely family moment in itself.
