Hi, I’m Jamie — an award-winning family photographer based in Carterton with a simple aim: to create natural, timeless portraits your family will love. Family photography is my core speciality and I focus on delivering a truly bespoke experience, whether we meet in my portrait studio near Witney or at one of the beautiful outdoor locations I regularly use. My approach is relaxed, friendly and fun. I know how to keep children and babies engaged so we capture genuine smiles and personalities rather than forced poses. Before every session I arrange a short pre-session chat to understand what makes your family unique, advise on locations and outfits, and plan a shoot that suits your family’s rhythm — this personal planning is a key part of my service and helps ensure stress-free, joyful photoshoots. I specialise in family and maternity portraiture, creating a mix of classic group shots and candid lifestyle images that work beautifully on your walls and in family albums. Sessions are tailored for all ages and group sizes — newborns, babies, toddlers, children and multi-generational family gatherings are all covered with the same care and attention. I favour natural tones and limited processing so your portraits remain timeless and don’t look dated as the years go by. Outdoor locations form a big part of what I do: stately homes, local parks and well-kept gardens provide wonderful backdrops and let active children be themselves. For distraction-free, crafted portraits we can use the studio, which features hand-crafted backdrops, a rope-swing system and playful elements that children love. My style blends relaxed lifestyle photography with polished portraiture so you get a variety of images from every session. While family and maternity work are my primary focus, I also offer portrait sessions that include newborn, baby and children photography as part of the family experience.
