I’m Francesca — a Cambridge-based family photographer who believes the best family portraits are the ones that feel honest, relaxed and true to who you are. For more than a decade I’ve been helping families turn everyday connections into images they’ll treasure: laughter between siblings, quiet moments with a newborn in arms, and the small gestures that tell your family’s story. My approach to a family photoshoot is simple and intentional. I create a calm, playful atmosphere where children can be themselves and parents can relax. I’ll give gentle direction when needed, then step back and photograph the candid moments that appear. Whether we’re working in my natural-light studio or walking the fields behind it for an outdoor session, I use soft, neutral tones and minimal props so your relationships — not distractions — remain the focus. Clients tell me their session feels more like a lovely family morning than a formal photoshoot. I plan each session around your family’s rhythm: arrival, settling in, quiet portraits and plenty of time for play. My studio is designed with families in mind — there’s space for siblings to relax in the toy room, a comfy seating area for parents, and controlled natural light that flatters everyone. For outdoor shoots I choose times and spots I know will give us the best light and atmosphere. I’m also dedicated to making the whole experience simple and transparent. After booking you’ll receive a welcome brochure with guidance on timing, what to wear and how to prepare — practical tips to help everyone enjoy the session. Many families return to capture new stages as children grow; I love building long-term relationships and documenting that journey. As an optional creative extra, I offer my heART FUSION video product — a gentle cinematic edit that pairs music and your images for a moving keepsake. But my core passion remains family photography: honest, timeless portraits made with care.
