I'm Grace, the photographer behind Little Works of Art Photography, based in Red Lodge near Bury St Edmunds. As a mum myself I understand how precious family moments are and why you want portraits that feel honest, relaxed and true to you. I specialise in family photography and create timeless, uncluttered studio family portraits that focus on connection rather than gimmicks. My approach is simple: keep styling pared back, use gorgeous light and subtle shadows for depth, and choose colour palettes that flatter and knit together into a cohesive gallery. I love deep jewel tones, neutrals and soft pastels — but most importantly I listen to your preferences and will discuss styling and colour choices before your session so your images feel like part of your family story. Studio family sessions are child‑friendly and calm. I work at your pace and create an atmosphere that helps even the most camera‑shy little ones relax. Family portraits are included with my session types and I genuinely enjoy capturing the playful, candid moments between siblings as well as composed, classic portraits. If younger children need a break, there’s a playpark and open green just outside the studio so a parent or grandparent can step out with them while we finish other shots. I bring props and simple accessories, provide snacks and drinks, and aim to make the whole experience low‑stress from booking to delivery. I’m honest and upfront about pricing and there’s no hard sell — just a straightforward booking and ordering process. After your session I carefully edit your images and deliver a private gallery by email so you can view and download your favourites in the comfort of your home. Galleries are typically ready within one to two weeks. While my primary focus is family photography, I also offer maternity and baby sessions, and I’m happy to help plan a consistent look across multiple stages so your photos flow together beautifully.
