I’m Lisa Lobanova — a Brockley-based family photographer who believes the best family photographs are the ones that feel like memories, not poses. My work lives in the space between portrait and story: emotive portraiture shot in natural light that honours your family’s small gestures, laughs and everyday tenderness. I centre my practice on families, children and newborns, creating images that look beautiful in an album and feel true when you look at them years later. Why choose me? Before the shoot we have a short chat about what matters to you — favourite places, routines, small rituals — and I tailor the session so it fits your family’s rhythm. On the day I aim for a relaxed atmosphere: games, prompts and simple storytelling to engage children and help you be yourselves. For newborns and babies I work with patience and care, prioritising comfort and safety while capturing those quiet, precious early moments. My photography is local to Brockley and London, but I also travel for meaningful family shoots across the UK and occasionally in France and Italy. Families return to me for milestone portraits — newborns, toddlers, birthdays and special ceremonies such as baptisms and communions — because they want images that feel honest and that age well.
