Hi — I’m Sylvia, a Bristol-based family photographer who specialises in creating honest, timeless family portraits you’ll want to live with. My approach is relaxed and unobtrusive. Whether we meet in my home studio, at your house or outdoors, I aim for sessions that feel natural and comfortable. I blend gentle, lifestyle-led direction with candid shooting so you get both beautiful portraits and authentic moments — the silly faces, the sleepy cuddles, the little hands holding tight. I’ve photographed hundreds of families (and over 700 babies since 2013), so I’m used to working with newborns, toddlers and lively children — patience, safety and creating a calm atmosphere are always my priorities. What makes my family sessions different is the personal care I bring to planning and styling. I listen to what you love, help you choose colours and outfits that work on camera, and offer access to my client wardrobe when needed.
