As a Brentwood-based family photographer, I centre my work on one clear aim: to freeze the small, sincere moments that make family life so precious. My approach is lifestyle-led and emotion-first — no forced smiles, no complicated props — just natural light, gentle direction and an eye for those tender interactions that tell your story. With a BA in Photography and years of experience photographing families across Essex, I blend creative vision with calm, practical experience. I love working with parents and children of all ages and create a relaxed atmosphere where even the most camera-shy little ones feel at ease. My signature aesthetic leans toward soft, creamy tones and warm, natural light: the sort of images that sit beautifully on a wall and feel familiar every time you look at them. How I work with you is simple and personal. After you enquire, we’ll have a short chat so I can learn about your family, your favourite locations and the moods you love. I’ll share a Style Guide to help with outfits and colour palettes, and I offer a curated wardrobe of dresses and pieces so you can achieve the look you want without extra shopping. On the day I favour gentle prompts over rigid posing — I aim to let your family be themselves while guiding small moments into beautiful composition. Sessions take place in and around Brentwood and across Essex: in your home for cosy, intimate images; outdoors at one of my curated locations for golden-hour warmth; or in my cosy studio when an indoor, pared-back look is best. I keep the session relaxed and fun — long enough to capture variety, short enough that it’s enjoyable for children. Two weeks after the shoot you’ll receive a private viewing gallery where you can choose your favourite portraits. My focus is on creating heirloom images: emotive, timeless photographs that feel like a warm memory each time you return to them. While family photography is my primary focus, I also photograph maternity and newborn lifestyle sessions with the same gentle, natural style.
