I’m Louise — a mum of three and the photographer behind Louise Murnane Photography. Since 2012 I’ve specialised in family photography across Bishops Stortford and the surrounding Essex & Herts border. My work is rooted in a simple belief: the best family photos are the ones that feel like you. I create a relaxed, fun atmosphere that frees families from stiff posing so I can capture authentic connection, laughter and the small everyday details that become treasured memories. My approach is natural and timeless. Whether we’re roaming a favourite park, making the most of a golden hour, or staying cosy at home for a newborn or baby session, I focus on real moments — cuddles, play, and the tiny expressions that make each child unique. I bring gentle direction when needed, but mostly I let your interactions lead the way so the images reflect your family’s true personality. I’m experienced with newborn and baby sessions and I take care to make parents and little ones comfortable: warm, calm settings, plenty of breaks for feeds and a patient pace that respects your routine. I also specialise in lively cake smash and 1st-birthday sessions that capture joy and celebration in a safe, styled environment.
