I specialise in family photography from my base in Biddulph, serving Cheshire, Staffordshire and Manchester. Family sessions are my core focus — I love documenting real life, from newborn snuggles and baby milestones to playful children’s portraits and treasured celebration moments such as baptisms, communions and birthdays. My approach is natural and relaxed. I take time to get to know each family before a shoot so everyone feels comfortable and confident on the day. Whether we meet in your home or garden, wander to a favourite local park or choose a special location nearby, I encourage familiar surroundings and personal props — favourite toys, meaningful outfits or heirlooms — because those details bring out genuine smiles and personality. During the session I work quietly and conversationally to capture candid interactions as well as a handful of gently guided portraits. I aim to create an atmosphere where children can be themselves and parents can relax; the best images come when moments are natural and unforced. I’m experienced with newborns and babies and understand the patience and care those shoots require, always prioritising safety and comfort. After the session I meticulously review and hand-finish each image, refining colour, tone and composition to produce a cohesive collection of family portraits you’ll be proud to display.
