I’m Cristina — The Childhood Photographer based in Basingstoke — and family photography is at the heart of everything I do. My focus is on creating natural, emotive portraits that feel like you: unscripted, gentle, and full of real connection. I photograph families across Hampshire, Berkshire and London, and my aim is always the same: to capture the small, honest moments that become the most treasured memories. Why choose me? How I work with you is completely bespoke. From our first pre-shoot chat to a comfortable Reveal appointment in my natural light studio, I guide every stage with clarity and care. We’ll plan locations and timing around your family’s routine, so the session feels effortless — whether that’s an outdoor adventure at a favourite spot, or cosy, storytime moments at home. After the shoot I personally edit your gallery and invite you to view your portraits on a large screen, where we’ll design display options together in a pressure-free Reveal session. Displaying your portraits is an important part of the experience. I love helping families choose wall art, bespoke albums and framed pieces that make images part of daily life — and I personally hand-deliver orders locally so the final result arrives cared for. Although family work is my core speciality, I also offer maternity sessions when clients want to mark that chapter. These are approached with the same bespoke, natural-light sensibility and are usually integrated into the broader family story we create together.
