I’m Francesca — a family photographer based in Banstead, Surrey — and family photography is my true passion. As a mummy to two little boys I know how quickly moments pass; my aim is to capture those everyday, authentic interactions that become treasured family heirlooms. I specialise in calm, natural family photoshoots that feel relaxed, genuine and timeless. My style is simple and pure: neutral tones, creams and soft light that allow personalities to shine. I work from a bright natural-light studio at my home in Banstead where children feel safe and at ease. Sessions are child-led and unhurried — I gently guide and play rather than force smiles or stiff poses — so I can capture real laughter, little gestures and the warm connections between you. What makes my approach different is a mix of professional training and lived experience. Before photography I worked in consultancy for child protection and families, so I bring patience, sensitivity and a calm presence to every session. I’ve also learned from experienced teachers in the newborn and family field, and that training informs how I work with all ages, especially little ones who need a relaxed atmosphere. From sibling giggles and candid play to classic family portraits, I focus on creating images that feel like you. I provide a carefully chosen client wardrobe and a soothing studio environment to keep sessions simple and beautiful. You’ll receive an online gallery of hand-edited images to view and choose from, with a quick turnaround so you can start sharing and printing memories soon after your shoot. While family photography is my specialism, I also photograph maternity and babies, and I’m happy to advise on timing to best capture each stage.
