I’m Rosanna — a family photographer based in Alton, Hampshire, and I specialise in creating natural, romantic and colourful family portraits that feel genuine, warm and timeless. Since starting my business after graduating with a degree in Photography, I’ve developed an editorial yet relaxed approach. I don’t like to be intrusive; instead I’m patient and observational, waiting for those real smiles, small gestures and candid moments that tell your family’s story. My focus is lifestyle family photography. I love shooting outdoors in the Hampshire countryside and around Winchester, using soft, natural light and locations that mean something to you — whether that’s the beach, the woods, a favourite park or a National Trust garden. Choosing a place you enjoy helps children relax and be themselves: running, exploring and playing. Those unscripted moments — muddy wellies, contagious giggles, and quiet embraces — are what I aim to capture. Working with families requires a calm, caring approach. As a mum I understand how precious these moments are and how quickly children grow. I bring a gentle energy to every session, guiding you with natural prompts rather than stiff poses, so even camera-shy parents and little ones feel at ease. If you have a dog, bring them along — they’re part of the family too and often add wonderful personality to the images. My process is collaborative and straightforward. From our initial conversation I’ll help you plan the shoot, offering styling tips and location ideas in a welcome guide so you arrive feeling prepared and confident. On the day I keep the atmosphere relaxed and playful, focusing on connection and those fleeting, honest interactions. After the session I provide a private online gallery where you can view and select your favourite images.
